Background
Who is Nasar Khan?
I was born and raised in Sweden, to parents from Pakistan. Living between two cultures taught me to listen, to build bridges, and to see how the same event can look entirely different depending on where you stand. That is also why I got involved.
At our kitchen table two languages met inside the same sentence. You cannot grow up like that without learning to translate — not only words, but the distance between people.
The rest came later. I became a father, and have measured every decision in decades since. I studied economics at Stockholm University. I became chairman of Taxiunionen Sweden, where I meet people who keep this country moving through nights and weekends. I sit on the board of Ayshamoskén.
Politics came last of all. It is a tool, not an identity.
